Books at the Barn

Join us the second Saturday of every month at Big Red’s Barn in Hayden, Idaho. We have a free community book exchange that you’re invited to. 

• Choose a book to take home.
• Enjoy some furry friends at the barn.
• Listen to live music.

Imagination Library

Children under the age of 5 who live in Shoshone County, are welcome to join this free program. Each child who registers receives a free book every single month. We are very thankful to the community in the Silver Valley who are the reason this program has survived. Check out our FAQ page to see when your first book will arrive.

Words with the Wise

Once a month, we’ll be visiting a different assisted living center. There, one of the senior residents will read to the children who attend. We’ll have treats from Pilgrim’s Market available. We would love to have your little ones there to support our seniors, as they help us advance a love of reading.

• A senior will read a children’s book.
• There will be treats available from Pilgrim’s Market.
• Everyone leaves with a smile on their face and a happy heart.
